The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 3 Early Years Childcare Apprenticeship at Fledglings Preschool.

Fledglings Pre School in Southsea is a long established provider of quality provision for children aged 3 to 4.

At Fledglings we understand that every child is unique and we will nurture each personality, enabling them to become self-confident and independent learners.

We follow each child's lead in play, helping them assess their own risks and explore their environment in all weathers, whilst developing their imagination through loose parts play.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;
Keeping children safe in the setting, and support the key members of staff

Providing the children with the appropriate stimulation and support

Supervise and prepare the daily program of activities

Be committed to helping the children thrive in a busy environment

Help and support the children assess their own risk

Helping settle the children within the group, liaise with the parents and be a good communicator all round

Help with general housekeeping duties, setting up the room, toileting, nappy changing and food preparation and helping at meal and snack times

Requirements;
A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent

You must be able to gain a clear DBS

Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Qualities Required;

Be willing to learn

Hours;
Fledglings Preschool provide day-care provision, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:45-15:30

Fledglings Preschool are a term time only setting
