Description
Do you have a degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising? Or are you a student currently looking for a 12 month placement?

Are you looking to take your first step into an apparel Buying career?

Do you have a meticulous attention to detail and are highly numerate?


If so, we have an opportunity for a
Buying Admin Assistant to join our Craghoppers Buying team on a 12-month fixed term contract, to assist the Buying team in the monitoring of bulk orders and salesman samples.


The Impact you will have in this role is:

Bulk orders / pricing

  • Buying Programmes created and costing requests issued under instruction from the Production Controllers
  • Garment purchase orders & amendments raised and checked on to the system
  • All delivery delay maintenance carried out and communicated via Merchandising system to planning
  • Critical path dates are met, with deliveries made on time
  • Barcode information approved
  • Up to date and maintained delivery on time records

QC

  • An awareness and understanding of the QC process in relation to the Critical Path and order process including the fit process, testing requirements, auditing measures and legislation

Salesman samples

  • Colour pallets created and the lab dip process monitored
  • Salesman samples orders raised
  • Assistance provided with the raising, monitoring & progressing of garment, accessory & fabric orders for 'on time' delivery of salesmen's samples
  • The Critical path process monitored for salesman samples, with them received in time for range launch

Buying trip preparation

  • The 'Points of Discussion' document is up to date
  • The 'Gold Silver Bronze' scoring sheet is created, with all relevant areas are competed
  • The supplier delivery performance document generated

General

  • The Production Controller assisted in any area required, achieving the job function & with workload prioritised accordingly
  • An awareness of and working in line with the Corporate Calendar
  • General office administration, including opening and distributing parcels
  • The carrier log and invoices maintained
  • Trip preparation: Itinerates, Visa's & general administration
