An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Social Care Team, Mental Health for a Band 3 Administrator post.


You will be supporting and working alongside a dedicated team of Administrators, Social Workers and Social Work Managers with some communication with other disciplines and service users.

To provide efficient, effective and timely administrative support for the Social Care Admin and Social Work Team.

Such support will include liaison with partner agencies and colleagues within the wider health and social care service. Ensuring effective communication and administrative systems are maintained to a high standard.

  • Undertake financial and general administrative tasks.
  • To deal discretely and efficiently with telephone calls.
  • To liaise with service users, relatives/carers, General Practitioners, other Consultants and medical staff, Community Services and any other Agency in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure an accurate, confidential and effective service by maintaining up to date records.
  • Assist in the delivery and development of the service using both Local Authority and CPFT IT systems.
  • Servicing meetings arranging dates, venues, preparing papers and agenda and minute taking as appropriate.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure appropriate service delivery.
  • To record and maintain the integrity of data/information.
  • To be aware that all work dealt with is of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
  • To assist, when required, with the work of other administrators within the team.
  • To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest standard.
  • The post holder must at all times carry out their duties with regard to the Trust Equal Opportunities Policy.
  • Develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to own personal development in line with the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (KFS)
