Description

The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Hotel Reservationist with a good eye for detail to join our Front of House team.

The Hotel Reservationist is to be guest focused and to be a wealth of knowledge for all areas of the hotel, treating guests with due care and attention by anticipating their needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Effect a professional handover procedure to ensure continuity throughout shifts
Assist in dealing with complaints and customer queries
Carry out specific duties as and when required by the Reception Manager
Input reservations into the computerised reservations system
Dispatch confirmations and hotel information
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
Answer telephone and inperson queries related to hotel services and resolves any issues
Prepare and complete room and restaurant bills
Handle payments through cash and credit cards
General Front of House duties
Dealing with group bookings

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour
