Description
SLR/Vectos now have an exciting opportunity for either a graduate or early-career Transport Planner to join our growing team in Nottingham City Centre, and assist with the delivery of a wide range of transport assessments for various clients across the UK, using a detailed knowledge and experience of standard modelling packages and recognised transport appraisal techniques.

About the role
Duties will be varied but responsibilities will include:
- Developing client relationships to ensure the securing of work
- Managing work projects in line with client expectations and SLR priorities
- Using personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions
- Providing guidance on quality matters and technical issues
- Seeking to "add value" to all projects
- Maintaining continuous professional development
About you
We are looking for either a graduate in Geography, Urban Planning, Transport Planning or similar, who is keen to embark on a career in Transport Planning with an industry leader, or a Transport Planner with a few years' experience in a comparable consultancy or local authority environment.
- Relevant degree (or higher) level qualification and membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (MIHT or similar)
- Evidence of using standard transport planning databases such as TRICS
- Proven project delivery capabilities
- Strong software modelling capabilities on relevant software packages such as ARCADY/PICADY/LINSIG
