Position Mentor Onboarding and Engagement


Location Hybrid working, travel across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, with occasional travel to Inverclyde, East and West Dunbartonshire, and working from home where possible


Salary £23,130 + excellent benefits


Hours 35 hours per week (flexible working)


Status Fixed term to 31 March 2024


Closing date 1 June 2023


Are you a passionate and driven individual who wants to encourage, support, and effectively assist people through impactful engagement? Using our Relational Mentoring approach, we are looking for an individual who can advise and support people to enter or return to sustainable employment.


Fair Start Scotland (FSS) is an employability programme funded by The Scottish Government that supports some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities to enter or return to sustainable employment.


You will be responsible for engaging with individuals in the community using a person-centred approach, promoting the FSS service to interested parties and creating referrals to the service.


As a Mentor, you'll meet people on a one-to-one basis and in groups and comply with quality and compliance whilst accurately completing paperwork and liaising with stakeholders in a professional manner.
