I-teachers are currently working with a warm and supportive secondary academy based in the Washington area who are eager to provide students with SEMH needs struggling with exam pressure, a 1:1 Personal Progress Tutor able to be a consistent foundation of all-round support for the remainder of the academic year through academic, social and emotional intervention support outside of the classroom.

Personal Progress Tutor - Role Information:

  • Personal Progress Tutor
  • Located in Washington (NE37)
  • Based in one secondary school
  • Paid £450 per week during term time before tax
  • FREE online CPD courses available via iteachers


  • Immediate Start

  • Monday to Friday position
  • Working hours: 08.30am pm
  • Providing 1:1 academic, social and emotional KS4 students
  • Tailoring support sessions to students academic weak points

Personal Progress Tutor - Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Core Subject or Sociology degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Passionate about the allround progression of young people
  • Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
