Description

The primary duties of the Engineering Supervisor will be to support the Estates Manager in managing the engineering/building staff and contractors on a day to day basis.

The supervisor's role will be to ensure that the optimum use of workforce is utilised at all times.

The position will require a person that will maintain discipline within the organisation and demonstrate leadership amongst fellow engineering and building colleagues.


The Engineering Supervisor must illustrate the ability to plan and prioritise all aspects of engineering and building duties, without compromising the smooth running of the service.

Other duties will involve the ordering of materials and equipment and to assist engineers with technical matters when required. The position will involve participating in the out of hours on-call system.


The working hours are to be 06:00 - 18:30 on a rolling rota of four days on four days off, this will include all Public & Bank holidays.

You will also participate on the estates managers on-call rota once every 4 weeks, you're on-call days will not fall on your rest days.
