PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY LAWYER - LONDON - TO £75000 Our client is looking for a professional indemnity solicitor to join team based in London.

You will be joining an ABS law firm of a major insurer. Role Overview This is a permanent role to join the establishedin-house legal team. The focus is on commercial contract work.


Duties include:
You will handle a case load of professional indemnity claims against a variety of professionals On a day to day basis you will:

  • Deal with both pre-action and litigated claimsto a conclusion, demonstrating an effective use of your legal and commercial skills
  • Provide case analysis and recommendations on strategy.
  • Supervise various tasks/projects delegated to others within the team.
  • Build relationships and liaise closely witha variety of Claims Professionals, Brokers and Insureds.
  • Independently handle a moderate caseload with moderate level of severity and complexity.
  • Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX with previous experience handling defendant professional indemnity work. As a guide you wouldbe expected to have a minimum of a year's post qualification experience.
  • The ability to foster and maintain excellent business relationships.
  • Ability to handle and analyse legal issues independently and with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaborativelywith team members and others.
