Description

Responsibilities

  • Investigation of daily settlements received from Brokers in order to allocate funds accurately
  • Raising and escalating queries to the Technical Operations team in order to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Organise meetings with Underwriters for the purpose of escalation and log problematic queries
  • Send statements on a monthly basis to Brokers to agree outstanding ledger and balances
  • Make regular payments of Brokerage, continuity credits and any credit refunds required.
  • Manage broker portfolio and UAC position

Specifications

  • Eclipse Underwriting (desirable)


  • Intermediate

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Able to read source documents (Slips, Endorsements, Closings)
  • Experience with EBIX (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years credit control experience (Offshore Energy experience highly desirable)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Numerate and able to understand complex debtor balances
  • Able to Prioritise workload
  • Proactive with ideas and initiative
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to build relationships externally and internally
