Description

This position will be working 3 Shift System. Shift allowance is paid in addition to salary.

Shift hours Dayshift Monday to Thursday Friday Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday Friday Nightshift Monday to Thursday

Overtime when worked will be paid.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the production process and ensure that it runs smoothly.
Ensure that safety protocols are followed.
Monitor the production process and identify areas for improvement.
Train and motivate staff to reach their goals.
Analyse production data and adjust processes accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of production output and inventory levels.
Communicate with other departments to ensure that production needs are met.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and positively influence decisions
You must be able to lead, instruct and motivate your team on a daily basis through effective use of their skills
To continually question and challenge unproductive behaviour immediately and highlight any patterns
You will be a self motivated individual with a background in leadership and problem solving
Ability to train and lead a lean manufacturing workshop will be a distinct advantage
Ability to work with other shift supervisors to ensure a consistent message across all shifts
