Customer Service Coordinator
***We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim's Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim's UK & Pilgrim's Food Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.


As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation.

We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.

We are currently recruiting for a

Customer Service Coordinator role based in our office in Warwick reporting to the Credit Control Manager.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The overall job purpose is to successfully carry out various tasks and manage the incoming orders to the business. The role is focused on EDI orders and orders from our foodservice customers.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to Company processes, procedures and SOC requirements.
  • Support the Credit Manager, assisting with development strategies which questions current working practices with a view to continuously improve our methods
  • To be a point of contact for a range of customers / clients
  • To ensure accurate processing of daily EDI transmissions, and to manually input other customer orders
  • Resolve any queries which pop up, and escalating further issues to your line manager
  • To scan completed orders onto SAP
  • Provide an excellent customer service by building strong relationships at all levels of the business
  • Uphold a consistency of approach of working procedures in line with all company policies, procedures and
  • Take responsibility for closing down open sales orders
  • To carry out other duties that may reasonably be requested of you to ensure the efficient running of the department
  • Weekend and bank holiday working required on a rota basis

What you'll need

  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience of ERP packages, SAP experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Similar industry experience
  • Sales admin experience
  • Working in a shared service environment would be an advantage.
