Our Client, a fast-growing FinTech is currently looking for a Payments Executive to join its dynamic and growing team in Cambridge.
Along with a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, you will also receive 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), flexible working opportunities (option to work from home 2 days a week), private medical insurance, employee health and wellness discounts, a cycle to work scheme, monthly happy hours, team lunches and training sessions.
They are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in operations within the financial services sector. You will work in the payments team but will also work very closely with the Account Management team. Your role will be vital in servicing new and existing clients and your team's work will directly impact the client experienceAs Payments Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Open accounts with partner banks
- Check and approve high value transactions to fund the accounts opened
- Recording confirmations of payment on the systems
- Transferring funds between bank accounts
- Confirming to internal teams on all payments executed daily
- Performing the daily reconciliation process
- Communicating with banking partners regarding account opening and the execution of payments to them
- Daily product upload to the platform for certain banks
- Creating new products on the platform when there are new offerings
- Communicating with banking partners on bespoke rates and products for high value clients
- Make payment processes more efficient and easier for clients
- Make the technology interface more userfriendly
We are looking for a Payments Executive who has the following skills and experiences:
- Payment operations experience within a Bank or regulated PSP
- Strong analytical skills, with experience with excel
- Able to work without supervision, focusing on the interactions between different parts of the business and banking partners, to deliver required outcomes
- Proven experience in the administration of payments and managing account remediations
- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Financial or economic background or education
