Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper,
Redhill 28 to 38k

A great opportunity to work in a firm which is growing their small Outsourcing / Book keeping team to work closely with clients who wish to outsource their monthly and quarterly bookkeeping.

You will already have relevant experience and be able to prepareaccounts to Trial Balance - this experience could be in Commerce or in Practice.

You will have good Cloud based accounting tech skills ideally Xero or Sage. Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will join a highly motivated and supportive team.

The main responsibilities include

General monthly bookkeeping on Xero
Quarterly VAT returns and liaison with HMRC
Assisting with some monthly and quarterly management accounts
Assisting with various client queries
Providing general accounting and IT support.

The Firm

You will join a highly regarded firm of Accountants with an excellent reputation in the local market with a wide selection of clients predominantly based locally and in London.

The salary band of £28,000 - £38,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide and will depend on relevant Audit experience.
