Health and Social Care Tutor - England, United Kingdom - Protocol
Description
We are seeking a new tutor to join our expanding team.We are looking for an individual with a passion for sharing knowledge and the patience and skills required to work with students of all backgrounds.
As a tutor you will be based from various training sites in the North West, West Yorkshire & Nottingham, delivering courses to out-of-work learners hoping to retrain in Health and Social Care or as a Teaching Assistant.
Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for Employability
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenge
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid & Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace
You must be flexible on travel, with our courses being located between Manchester, West Yorkshire and Nottingham.
Travel expenses are paid for.
As well as your annual salary, you will be eligible for an annual bonus scheme, with potential extra earnings of up to £4k.
Responsibility and duties
To be able to deliver a quality Level 1 & Level 2 course face to face via various curricula.
To correctly collect and complete relevant registration documentation with learners
To report accurate learner progress, to manage and help encourage learners to succeed with their education
To complete a lesson plan in advance of each lesson
To ensure effective continuous assessment and action planning of learner's portfolios throughout their programme and final assessment within the agreed four-week time limit, ready for final IQA.
Qualifications and Certification required
UK-recognised Teaching Qualification (Level 3 standard)
A1 or CAVA equivalent assessor qualification
Experience working in Health and Social care environment or similar qualifications
Experience working as an educator or assessor
Experience or relevant qualifications to deliver the below qualifications:
Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for Employability
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenge
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid & Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace

Up to £28,000.00 per year
