Description

As the Head of Service, the post holder is a key member of the services leadership team reporting to the Associate Director and working in partnership with the wider Senior Leadership Team.

The post holder is responsible for the leadership and management of the Operational Managers within a defined area of responsibility.

You will formulate the operational delivery plans for their defined portfolio of services, and be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality and effective care within their service areas.

You will work with the Associate Director to deliver the agreed strategic direction of their service portfolio.

You will be responsible for the delivery of all performance metrics and KPIs targets within their services, proactively identifying exceptions and developing remedial plans with operational managers and clinicians.

Youwill be responsible with other members of the Services Team to ensure the continued high profile of all community services.

Ensure that services are effective, efficient and responsive to changing patterns of need, and they will be accountable for the delivery of high quality and cost effective care within budgetary constraints.

You will support the Associate Director in service redesign and transformation, contributing strategic knowledge and professional insight into proposals and plans and ensure that adults services staff training needs and other specific requirements are identified to enable them to contribute to new initiatives.
