Job Overview:
- To have full responsibility for the delivery and management of sufficient resources on the Cruise and Core operations.
- To ensure a secure and safe conditions to operate within.
- Ensuring compliance with key SLA's/KPI's.
Main Duties
CORE
- Management of Core security operations inline with Dft requirements.
- To ensure service delivery levels are being appropriately maintained. Making and implementing appropriate recommendations to improve standards, service and productivity on both short
- Maintain control and ensure on time and quality delivery of all security related projects.
- Ensuring that all security staff have an appropriate understanding of port security and policies.
- Maintaining pay and invoicing systems.
- Ensuring that all actions identified from health and safety inspections, risk assessments/accidents are recognised and addressed as required.
- Review, develop and implement, with compliance, appropriate measures to inform the Security section how they are performing
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
- Ensure patrol system is working and reports available
- Roster all core positions ensuring gaps are filled and staff advised of roster in advance
- Producing and reviewing risk assessments
- Reviewing customer requirements and implementing any improvements identified.
CRUISE:
- Interact directly with the client daily.
- Future Planning, Manning ships per individual and seasonal requirements.
- Ensure all Service Providers understand expectations.
- Time manage daily tasks ensure
- Process pay queries as and when they come in.
- Support schedules to ensure that all available personnel are aware of their duty for the days coming.
- Work from the client office on a regular basis to ensure that our operational engagement is shared frequently.
- Ensure that accuracy of the dally work conducted in this role is of the highest standard.
- Ensure that WP+ is up to date with all employees.
- Make sure that the ship "layons" are reviewed.
- Assist on the operation during busy days.
- Deal With HR cases.
- Problem Solver.
What we are looking for:
- Min 5 years' experience in security market (or similar role.)
- Min 3 years' experience in an operational role
- Involvement in a regulated operational regime
- Proven account management experience (or similar role)
- Proven experience in problem solving and issue resolution on large accounts
- Good commercial skills
- Positive communication internal / external
- Management through influence
- High level of numeracy
- High level of literacy
- Resilient and tenacious
