What you'll be doing:

  • Assume responsibility for the planning of your designated materials for either sales or internal departments within the Group.
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the supply of the above products, maintain and build good working relationships with these stakeholders.
  • Work extensively with supply chain team to ensure continued supply of designated materials.
  • Take ownership of and maintain the key performance indicators (KPI's) within your designated planning sheets working in conjugation with management to ensure that all KPI's are relevant to where the business is at any given time.
  • Ensure planning sheet comments are updated on a daily basis, prepare internal and external supplier forecasts as required and liaise with either the accounts or logistics department in the event of an invoice or delivery query.
  • Assist with maintaining product information held in SAGE to keep the data relevant and up to date. Log observations and nonconformances in Q Pulse.
  • Provide cover for other positions within the department as required.

  • Good MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks and manage priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have strong problem solving and decision making skills.
