Contract - US Retail Media Specialist (Programmatic/Direct) - Network Agency - £350 - £400 per day - Inside IR35

Hello all. Bit more of a niche requirement today.

One of my network media agency clients is in need of a retail media specialist for an initial 3 months starting ASAP.

They have just won a new piece of business from a brand under one of the largest FMCGbusinesses in the world.

The role will sit within the programmatic team at the agency, you will be taking a lead on working with retailers in the USA (think Walmart, Walgreens, Target etc) and looking at targeting audiences for the brand.


They need someone that is very familiar with the retail space in America, and who has a good grasp of retail media strategy and it's mechanics in that market.

This will be both programmatic and direct and primary DSP used is The Trade Desk. There is potentialfor this role to extend.

If you have activation experience too, there is a higher chance of this happening as you can be used in different areas of the team.


They can consider remote workers for this role, however ideally you will have some flexibility to go into the London office occasionally, so UK based is a must.


The Job

  • US Retail/Shopper media specialist.
  • Sitting as part of a successful and well run programmatic team at a network agency.
  • Responsible for retail strategy and audience targeting across key US retailers such as Walmart and Target.
  • The role will be very strategic with the support of a competent activation team.
  • Working across both programmatic and direct.
  • Train members of the team on strategy in this space.
  • Looking at how to buy audiences effectively that have been on certain retailers, specific to the products the business sells.
  • Potential for contract extension, especially if you have activation experience.

You

  • Must have a detailed understanding of the US retail space and prior experience working with key US retailers.
  • Strong strategic experience with an understanding of audience behaviours in that market.
  • Both programmatic and direct experience.
  • Ideally comfortable with The Trade Desk DSP.
  • Retail/Shopper Media Specialist.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous role.
  • Ideally some activation experience.
