Admin Support Officer, Stevenage Day Service

Starting Salary:
£21,189 progressing to £22,369 pa (pro rata for part-time) - Pay increase pending


Hours: 20 per week

We have exciting times ahead and are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our team in Stevenage LD Day Service.

You will be working in a day service environment for adults with learning disabilities.


We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individual who is able to ensure that a high level of administrative support is provided to our team.


As part of your role, you will be the first point of contact for Managers and have excellent customer care skills.

You will be self-motivated, professional, and approachable, providing excellent team support and best practice at all times.


You will be willing to undertake a variety of administrative tasks, working to departmental policies and procedures and will have experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft excel and databases.


This is not a typical administrator role as you will often be the first point of contact for people who use our service, their parents/carers, other professionals, and visitors to the service.

The days are very varied and no two days are the same. This is a very rewarding job.


Although there are no specific qualifications required for this role, previous administrative experience in service delivery or a business-related qualification would be beneficial.

English Fluency:

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
