Applications are sought for a Post Doctoral Research Associate position in Advanced Transfer Printing for on-chip photonics. The position is based at the Institute of Photonics (IoP, Department of Physics) at the University of Strathclyde.
- fabrication and characterisation of micro-optical components and their micro-assembly into systems-on-a-chip.
- electronic characterisation is desirable.

The project is part of a wider collaboration between Strathclyde and our partner Fraunhofer UK.

The appointed researcher will work closely with these partners with the opportunity for research visits as well as travel for dissemination of results at international conferences.

Formal interviews for this post will be held in September.
