Job Introduction
An opportunity has arisen for an ED Transformation Assistant based in Tipton.


Reporting to the Electricity Distribution Transformation Lead and supporting the ED Transformation Analyst, the job holder is required to - support to provide updates and metrics for NGED's Performance Contract, quarterly business updates and monthly reporting, support to provide updates in relation to initiatives in NGED's Transformation Plan, support to provide updates in relation to tracking of efficiency saving initiatives and support to tracking progress on the set-up of monitoring of RIIO-ED2 performance against Core Commitments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support to assist in the production of NGED's annual Performance Contract.
  • Support to assist in the production of NGED's monthly performance reporting for NG Corporate/Group (i.e. Monthly Business Report, Quarterly Business Report, Tier 1 Dashboard, Tier 2 Dashboard and Quarterly Transformation Report).
  • Support to assist in the updating NGED's Transformation Plan and tracking of progress.
  • Support to assist in the tracking and monitoring of efficiency initiatives, including updating of eHub for WPD Synergy initiatives.
  • A member of the RIIO-ED2 Delivery Group and Quarterly Business Owner checkins/working groups.
  • Support to organise the RIIO-ED2 Delivery Group and Business Owner checkins/working groups in a timely manner.
  • Support to help in the setup of monitoring of RIIO-ED2 performance against Core Commitments.
  • Support to analyse and interpret responses to NG Group information requests.
  • Able to assist in the preparation of responses to Ofgem requests/consultation documents/processes.
  • Responsible for the quality of their own work, personal performance and behaviour.
  • Capable to undertake additional ad hoc work as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
Relevant qualification at Level 2 or higher.

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in relative activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet modelling, analyse data and present findings.
