Accounts Assistant

You'll be reporting directly to the financial controller, providing you with great learning opportunities, as the aim of this role is to develop into an assistant financial controller.

This company works predominantly with Xero, making most of the work as automated as possible to allow you more time to work on projects.

What you'll be doing

Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Developing and implementing new systems and processes
Cash flow
Budgeting
Assisting the production of management accounts
Working on various ad hoc projects

What you'll need

Confident communicator with fantastic problem solving skills
AAT Level 4 or ACCA/ CIMA Part Qualified
Positive and ambitious mind set
Ability to work well in a team and independently

Salary - £35,000 plus study package

They offer fantastic flexibility with hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. They also offer flexitime, operating within the core hours 10:00 - 15:00.
