**Senior Administrator
Chelmsford, Essex
£26,000 + DOE

9-12 months Maternity Contract**Our client, a leading, specialist contractor based in Chelmsford are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Administrator to join them on a 9-12 months maternity contract.

**The Role of Senior Administrator: **To assist the office manager during maternity leave cover with the day to day administration to ensure the smooth running of the office across all divisions.

  • Assistance to Office Manager as required
  • Assistance with HR administration, including but not limited to administration of sickness/absence, annual leave, investigation and disciplinary hearings, maintaining policies and procedures, completing inductions for new employees.
  • Assist with accreditation preparation as follows but not limited to ISO Standards, CHAS, SMAS, FORS, IIP providing guidance to the compliance administrator when required.
  • Attend day audits with the office manager and assist with ensuring the day goes smoothly, actioning results as appropriate
  • Assist with completion and review of personal and vehicle accident report forms, including reporting to the appropriate organisation if required i.e. HSE, Insurance Company
  • Provide PA / administrative support to Contracting division including booking meetings, assisting with ad hoc requests and advising on company policies / procedures
  • Review and monitor complaints received
  • Diary management
  • Minute taking for group meetings as required
  • Liaise with external IT / Telecoms support where required
  • Supervision of front office team in Office Manager(s) absence and supporting other team members to ensure completion of their tasks
  • Liaise with and supporting Directors and Managers when required including booking meetings, providing advice and support on company policies / procedures and general support
  • Preparation of documents and general ad hoc duties as required by the company
  • Other such reasonable duties as instructed by the manager/director
  • GCSE/NVQ
  • Strong administration experience is essential
  • Previous compliance admin experience would be a major advantage (ISO Standards, CHAS, SMAS, FORS, IIP)
  • Experience within a HR environment is preferred
  • Excellent administration and communication skills
