Context

As an experienced HR Lead you will manage a small team to support colleagues as part of a key project providing support and guidance, handling investigations and grievances.

As the HR Lead you will oversee and manage a key project.

This is a hybrid Human Resources role based from our modern, newly refurbished office in Stoke of Trent.

This is a fixed term contract position and you will receive a retention bonus on completion of 14 weeks service.

Key Responsibilities
******:

Manage a team of 2 advisors to ensure a professional and timely service
***:

Maintain a full understanding of the project requirements
***:
-
Ensure performance is reviewed and provide regular updated with the HR Director
***:

Support the wider HR team to minimise business risk:


  • Communicate complex or sensitive information in a professional manner:
-
Build strong stakeholder relationships
***:
-
Manage weekly meetings to review performance and progress of cases
***:
-
Support the project lead to deliver accurate reporting

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
******:
-
A confident HR professional with solid experience handling a high volume of cases
***:
-
Experience leading a small team
***:
-
CIPD, part qualified or equivalent experience
***:
-
Strong knowledge and experience undertaking grievances and investigations
***:
-
Sound knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and employment issues
***:
-
Experience in a high-volume head count, multi-site business
***:
-
Knowledge or experience dealing with Unions
***:
-
Adaptable with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment:


  • You will have excellent communications skills, the ability to influence and drive decision making
