Contract Length: 6 Month Contract

I am very happy to announce a new and exciting contract opportunity available with one of our sector-leading telecommunication clients They are currently looking for an experienced Information Security Policy Officer to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

To maintain library of information security policies and standards
To update and produce new information security policies and standards

To liaise and direct SMEs for support in producing information security polices and standards in line with LG's information security strategy.

Support other security governance workstreams linked to security documentation.

Required Skills/Experience

Good understanding of Current best practice in information security governance such as ISO 27001 standard and NIST cybersecurity framework
Writing formal documents, policies and standards through full lifecycle (liaison with SMEs, checkpoints, reviews, signoff)
Good technical knowledge of current security best practice.
Ability to communicate and influence wide range of senior stakeholders including security SMEs (architecture, engineering, vulnerability and incident management)

Preferred skills and knowledge:

ISO 27001 Certified Lead implementor

CISM

CISSP
