Join us as the Ethical Assistant, and you will contribute to the development and delivery of our ethical strategy by supporting both the team and suppliers.


You will play a key role in ensuring that all our own brand products are sourced ethically as part of our wider responsible sourcing strategy.


This role will be embedded within our ethical team and will be responsible for answering queries and, managing data requests, preparing information for reporting and general administration to support wider business goals.


Quality & Sourcing manages the technical development of our product ranges, ensuring we are offering the best possible quality and value for the customer.

To ensure products meet ethical, quality, legal and safety standards that exceed customer expectations.

The ethical department is embedded within the Quality Team.

Managing the ethical compliance of our supply chain to our own ethical policy to ensure the rights of the workers in our supply chain are respected and our brand protected.

What you'll be doing:


  • Answer Verisio Platform/team/supplier queries.
  • Send out high risk escalation letters.
  • Out of date audits chase suppliers and engage commercial teams if orders need to be paused.
  • Obtain PO and item info and send to Verisio/Eurofins team pre spot check.
  • Work with data team and product team to chase up items without factories loaded.
  • Chase supplier payments and work with finance to manage debits
  • Provide monthly KPI's to Finance
  • Oversee cotton ethical assessments and supplier engagement

What we'll look for in you:

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Fluent in Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and support the timely delivery of projects
  • Good attention to detail
