Description

We are a care home in Arnside Cumbria, situated on The Prom, our care home boasts beautiful view across the bay.

We are looking for a head cook to come on board with us, you will be working around 30-40 hours per week however, hours and times can be discussed at interview.

We also offer free rail travel from Lancaster or Grange and we offer mileage for car journeys into work.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer preferences
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Skills:

Proven experience as a cook or chef
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
