About the Job
Reporting to the Finance Director the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for and assisting with and completing the following duties
- Maintaining Sales & Purchase ledgers
- Credit Control
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of supplier payments and making of same
- Month End supplier Statement reconciliation
- Preparation of UK VAT returns
- Monthly PAYE and pension submissions
Previous experience
- Recent relevant experience of working in a similar office role in a fastpaced busy environment demonstrating your ability to meet the demands of this role
- Excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- To have strong confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the accounts function
- Experience of Sage accounts package
