At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Driver / Handler at our Aldergrove Flying Station site.


The role
As a Driver / Handler, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will ensure driving activities are provided as required to meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Day to day, you'll undertake all driving duties that are required by the contract, as well as:

  • Undertake Aircraft Refuelling Duties.
  • Assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be a key part in our flightline operations.
  • General duties as required, including and other responsibilities as allocated by Management.
  • Carry out any other duties as required to support the contract.
This role is full time and based onsite at Aldergrove Flying Station.


Essential experience of the Driver / Handler:

  • Working knowledge of Transport & Driver legal requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.

Qualifications for the Driver / Handler:

  • Clean Driving Licence.
  • Must meet eye colour vision of CP2/CP3 for airfield airside operations.
