Finance Assistant - Park Royal and Baker Street


We are looking for an enthusiastic Cluster Finance Assistant to join our Finance department in our Holmes hotel and Park Plaza Park Royal hotel.

You will take charge of the day to day processing of all reconciliation in accordance with hotel accounting and financial controls, policies and procedures as outlined in Head Office manual and PPHE corporate policies and guidelines in line with the hotel business plan.


Your main duties as a Finance Assistant:

  • Reconcile the cash received by the front office and POS on daily basis.
  • Ensure any corrections are completed on the Opera and Sun, as needed.
  • Banking money on daily basis.
  • Foreign exchange currency to be given to the front office and to check on the Opera that the rates are correct.
  • Order all change for the front office according to their request and needs.
  • Check and pay the due back on daily basis.
  • Credit card reconciliation on daily basis. All corrections to be made on Opera and the Sun, as needed as well as on excel.
  • Credit cards charge back to be rectified immediately and to do corrections in Opera and Sun, as needed.


  • Petty cash

  • The excel file has to be updated on daily basis.
  • To check the Management consumption daily and ensure the Excel file is updated. To be authorised by the General Manager.
  • Allowances and voids have to be checked on daily basis and to be authorised by the General Manager
  • File all the above mentioned in the proper files.
  • Daily revenue report to be completed on a daily basis.
  • Reconciliation of the bank accounts at month end.
  • Assist the Assistant Financial Controller with the month end reporting process.
  • Any other reasonable tasks requested by the AFC / Finance Manager.
