Our client based in New Milton are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their sales team and help achieve their goals of excellent service and growth as a team.

You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for external sales representatives.

Applicants must have min 2 years working experience in technical sales and experience of working in an engineering company.

Also, a good knowledge of customer service best practices with experience in the same preferable, alongside a willingness to learn.

Goodorganizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and exhibit a willingness to grow as part of a team and within the role.


Outbound Sales duties to include:

  • Produce quotations to suit requirements
  • Process sales orders
  • Check data accuracy in output, including quotations, orders, and invoices
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the production department to ensure delivery to customer schedule
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Communicate feedback from customers to internal departments to improve our services
  • Ensure all enquiries are responded to rapidly and diligently
  • Outbound calls to lapsed customers for quote/ requirement validation and support
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Support and facilitate the External Sales Team and their customers


Applicants must have proven work experience as a sales administrator or sales support agent, be methodical with attention to detail, have hands on experience with CRM software, and MS Office, an understanding of sales performance metrics, excellent organizationaland multitasking skills, a good team player with high level of dedication and an ability to work to deadlines.

This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start available, the standard working week is 39 hours Monday to Friday with some flexibility required to meet business needs.

The starting salary will be up to £25k per annum dependent on experience.
