Description

Senior database administrator required to work with a government department. This is an initial

6-month contract, paying up to £

600 a day, inside IR35,

hybrid working (1-2 days in the office: Glasgow).


Ideally you will be SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance.

Essential Skills:


  • Experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2012/2014/etc.)
  • Experience of maintaining relational databases and writing SQL code
  • Experience of database backup recovery and maintenance schedules
  • Experience of SQL installations, upgrades and patching
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problemsolving skills, with a commitment to working with stakeholders to fully understand challenges and identify appropriate solutions

  • Exposure to Open-Source database platforms
