Hounslow and Richmond Community NHS Trust Paediatric Audiology Service is looking for an enthusiastic Administrator and School Hearing Screener to join their team.

This is a skill mix post; the post holder will undertake administrative tasks, hearing screening at school entry and also assist Audiologists in clinic.


  • Administrative support of the Paediatric Audiology department.
  • Using software such as Auditbase, SystmOne, S4H and Business Intelligence.
  • Assisting audiologists in clinic.
  • Undertaking school hearing screening.


You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT skills with a high level of data accuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

This post requires clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau at an enhanced level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The post holder will provide administrative and clerical support needed for the day to day running of the audiology service.
  • The post holder will use electronic patient database systems (e.g. Auditbase, SystmOne and S4H).
  • The post holder will support with assisting Audiologists in clinic.
  • The post holder will organise hearing screening in schools, retest sessions for all schools and develop good working relationships and rapport with schools for the smooth running of the hearing screening service.
