About the Role
Base Location:
Teesside / Sunderland / Newcastle - Flexible | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception.
We will, however, need your base 'home' location to be in the North East area.Salary:
£32,900 - £42,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Our Careers Pipeline Co-Ordinator coordinates activities across our key social value focus areas. Working closely with the regional teams to establish opportunities to develop collaborative events and support community projects. Develop relationships with external stakeholders to outline and lead on a series of Low-carbon Education activities.
This includes leading programs and processes for the graduate, trainee and apprentices employed in the SSE Energy Solutions business, as well as exploring new pipeline pools.
In this role you will:
- Identify opportunities to improve the current trainee pipeline programs
- Identify opportunities to engage with and support community projects.
- Work with external stakeholders to develop a program of lowcarbon education activities
- Work with the Business Development and Bid teams to support their activity
- Work with the Operational HR Managers to support internal talent pipeline development including leading on the inhouse Extended Leadership Team development programme and ensuring a clear understanding of Energy Solution's internal talent pipeline
- Engage with Corporate Learning and Talent teams, academic providers and other agencies on a range of pipeline activity
- Support ad hoc HR activity to ensure we have both the recruitment and retention of a strong pipeline of talent in place in a timely manner and to deliver our ambitious business plan and beyond
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- An understanding of Modern Apprentice, Graduate and Trainee frameworks and associated regulatory requirements
- An understanding of the SSE Energy solutions business with experience of talent development schemes and succession planning processes
- The ability to deliver at pace in this fast growing, action orientated business
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication and IT skills
- The ability to interact with all internal and external stakeholders (including those at Director level) in a highly professional manner
