Contract Length: 12 months

Location:
Hybrid/Belfast - 3 days per week in the office, potential travel within Northern Ireland

Pay Rate to Intermediary:
Up to £23.06 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a Planning Project Delivery Support for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PLANNING PROJECT DELIVERY SUPPORT

  • Identify and deliver activities to provide fully operational SPS Facilities
  • Working in partnership with key user groups (VSAHG/Plant Health, Local Councils) define and deliver a Go live plan for those aspects of port readiness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in the end to end trader journey.
  • Support stakeholder engagement through leading on and chairing specific meetings or working groups with users.
  • Supporting the key user groups through the transition process.
  • Development of transition and customer handover plans through engagement with wider project team and stakeholders.
  • Deliver advice on changing processes through delivering awareness sessions and preparing relevant written briefing updates for staff and site users.
  • Work with business areas to coordinate and develop relevant training plans for sites users.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PLANNING PROJECT DELIVERY SUPPORT

  • The post holder would be expected to have Project Management/Change Management experience.
  • Experience supporting colleagues and other stakeholders through a significant change/transition in processes or goals.
  • A formal change management certification would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience of building positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, including senior management.
  • Ability to lead, develop, motivate and manage staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and have experience in preparing project papers/documentation and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and provide a positive contribution to the overall success of the team.
  • One or more related qualifications, e.g. PRINCE2 is preferred but not essential.
