Search Finance & Accounting are recruiting a Head of Accounts Payable to join one of their largest clients in Birmingham.

This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and responsible for a team of eight purchase ledger clerks.

This opportunity with suit an experienced individual who comes from a large company background, has worked with complex systems and has the aspiration and hunger to achieve maximum performance results.

Your Profile

Clear and concise communications skills are an absolute must to be considered for this post, as well as being able to hold your own and add value in large meetings.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance this fantastic role will be an integral part of the finance leadership team.

Some of the responsibilities are detailed below:

Lead, build and develop team members to ensure they are fully supported in the role and they reach their full potential.
Ensure processes are implemented, reviewed and carried out to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy at all times.
Produce monthly management reports and relevant KPI's so the business are able to make key decisions around budgets, profitability and new business ventures.
Review and hold regular meetings around aged debt reports.
Manage the roll out of new systems and processes effectively.
Ensure team members are equipped with all streamlined processes and they are carried out within tangible time frames.
Manage and oversee all supplier set ups, employee expenses, operational requirements, costs for the groups and be in a position to make key decisions.

Salary Details:

£ £60,000 plus excellent company holidays and pension. Hybrid working is on offer.
