We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated 5-Axis CNC Setter/Operator to join our dynamic team.

Individuals with a strong understanding of engineering and experience in milling will be considered, as we offer training for those who want to progress their career into 5-axis machining.

CAD/CAM experience is not essential but will be of strong benefit as there is potential progression into a programming role.

Responsibilities:

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to set up and operate the Hermle C20U 5axis CNC machine.
Perform tool changes, fixture adjustments, and machine offsets to ensure precise and efficient machining processes.
Monitor machine operations and conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy and consistency of the produced components.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, with a strong understanding of engineering and experience in milling.
Individuals with a desire to progress their career into 5axis machining will also be considered, as training will be provided.
CAD/CAM experience is not essential but will be of strong benefit as there is potential progression into a programming role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and tool adjustments.
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on the Hermle C20U 5axis CNC machine (training will be provided).
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments to verify component accuracy.
Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
