Description
We are looking for an Income Administrator to join a small Housing Provider in London on a 6 month contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the housing and income team including filing, photocopying, scanning and updating the database
- Act as first point of contact for residents with standard rent queries and to manage a small arrears patch
- Administer collection of rent through direct debit and other payment procedures
- Ensure all housing benefit payments and schedules are accurately processed and coded
- Provide emergency cover during absences which may include home visits, tenancy sign ups and service of notices.
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience of working within social housing/local authority in an administrative capacity
- Experience of helping customers with rent arrears and managing lowlevel rent arrear cases
- Have strong computer skills, good verbal skills and knowledge of the role.
