Senior Management Accountant (Practice) - Leeds - c£40k

Sewell Wallis are working with a fast growing and successful Practice in Leeds city centre who are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.

Our client offers a range of services including Accounting, Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax and R&D and this role will sit within Management Accounts team.

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant, ACA / ACCA /CIMA with a strong Practice background and as the role is very client focused, it is essential that you have first class relationship building skills.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing monthly management accounts and information relevant to the client on a timely basis

Preparing and updating detailed client cash flows where necessary
Attending client meetings to discuss results and suggest improvements
Supporting other departments where necessary
Completing all administrative and other ad hoc duties in relation to the preparation of accounts where necessary
Identifying opportunities for cross selling additional services
Supporting junior members of the team with their development and studies

Requirements:

Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with solid experience of working in a management accounts role
Practice experience
Confident in dealing with clients across levels
Strong communication skills
Ideally knowledge of using Xero, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
