Description

First Achieve's Engineering Division are recruiting for a Finishing Unit Operator to be based in the Livingston area.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking business that is heavily involved with the Aerospace & Energy industries.

3 shift pattern
Early finish on a Friday

Responsibilities:

Responsible for acid etching and dye penetrant of parts
Packing and shipping duties
Ensure all work is to a high standard
Once trained additional skills training could include Hardness Testing and Metallurgical sample preparation

Experience and skills required:

Current Forklift/ Crane Licence
Machine Experience
Previous experience in a chemical environment.
Previous experience working within inspection area.
Previous experience in a similar role
Good sound judgement
Able to work with mínimal supervision and demonstrate initiative

As part of the recruitment process there will be a Numerical and verbal aptitude testing.
