HR Business Partner
Expanding business looking for a
HR Business Partner to join their HR team at their new busy Peterborough site.

Partnering with the operations and site leadership team you will, as
HR Business Partner, be translating the people strategy into an action plan.


Working with the site leadership team, and through department managers you will deliver a comprehensive HR service, ensuring managers and employees are confident in their responsibilities in building a high performance.


As HR Business Partner responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head of HR with the development and roll out of the HR strategy.
  • Liaise with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify and plug skills gaps and identify high performing individuals for career development.
  • Translate insights from performance management and case management into learning and development interventions, and engage with L&D partners to deliver these.
  • Support with the pay and rewards cycle and support line managers in delivering the necessary appraisal and performance conversations to make this meaningful. the rewards and benefits package alongside appraisals and salary reviews.
  • Deliver employee engagement initiatives with a specific focus on wellbeing and EDI
  • Manage all employee relations issues, including managing absence, probations, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness.


Ideally you will be qualified or qualifying in CIPD and have experience of managing the HR agenda in a fast paced, pressured environment.

You must be comfortable engaging with employees from senior leaders to warehouse teams, and ensure they feel valuedand listened to.

You must be able to operate in a commercial environment and be comfortable working with quickly change people priorities.
