Purolite is seeking a Finance Admin Assistant to join our growing finance team based out of Llantrisant, Wales. The Finance Admin Assistant is a member of the Purolite Finance Team reporting to the UK Accounting Manager.

This position performs a variety of routine and non-routine clerical/accounting functions mainly supporting the billing and commercial pricing areas in accordance with standard procedures.

Contacts other departments, customers and/or outside agencies to resolve problems, resolve open issues, collects and maintains price information, assisting in regular price updates (list prices, price increases, policies, and terms), new customer pricing & rebates agreement creation (based on the requests from local sales support or sales representatives), order queries (missing prices or discrepancies on the purchase orders) and generating the commercial reports (price lists, price comparison reports, price increase tracker and others).

Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent and has an affinity for a challenging environment within a fast-growing company.

What you'll do:


  • Ensure the successful execution of billing jobs within EBS / SAP system. Identify and drive resolution of any issues highlighted which are stopping the production of invoices
  • Regular manual billing as required
  • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) monitoring when implemented
  • Supporting Einvoicing (platforms) manual uploading of Invoices
  • Daily / Monthly Monitoring to ensure error free transactions
  • Drive/ Action resolution of billing related errors in a timely manner
  • Billing standard activities
  • Routine and periodend reporting
  • Incident creation and analysis of the problem, and drive resolution of issues in a timely manner
  • IT testing of new or updated functionalities within the SAP system
  • Maintain a good standard of system operation & data quality
  • Setup and maintain list pricing
  • Price increase calculation, execution and tracking
  • Springboard requests maintenance, approval and governance
  • Resolve pricing issues
  • Track and resolve issues with orders
  • Daily business support for the sales team & divisional finance
  • Master data support

What you'll need:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Work experience in Finance or Administration
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP SD module
  • Advanced Microsoft office suite, excel, work, outlook software
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detailed oriented person.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a team or selfdirected work environment
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to keep confidential information confidential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
