Description
We are looking for Trainee Operator Setter to join a reputable manufacturing firm based in Estover. This role is offering a permanent position working with a friendly team supporting the engineering team.


Job Purpose
To set and start all extruders and downstream equipment.


Main job responsibilities

  • Opening of Factory turning on and startup of all machinery.
  • Efficient use of raw materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality parameters of product, packing and labels as laid down in the Quality Manual.
  • Continually seeking improvements in productivity and quality.
  • Ensure safe working practice and environment.

Regular duties

  • Carry out first off and patrol inspections
  • Set up and operate all extrusion equipment

Requirements;

  • The successful applicant will have previous experience working within a manufacturing / engineering environment.
  • Previous machine operating and setting experience desirable.
  • Strong work ethic, abiliiy to work well on own initiative.

Hours of work
4 day week - Mon - Thurs 14:00 - 00:40
