Lydgate Junior and Infant School is a multi-cultural school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in Soothill, Batley.

We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic ESA working 1:1 to be a part of our committed and engaging Rec/KS1 and SEND team and support our pupils' teaching and learning.

We are looking for someone who:

Will be a dynamic and proactive ESA and committed to inclusive practices
Be caring, patient, empathetic and resilient
Be knowledgeable about child development to support learning and familiar with the Reception expectations
Has high expectations of achievement, progress and behaviour of our SEND children.
Can build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
Is able to work well as part of a team and show initiative.

The ability to relate to children/young people from diverse backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other staff members.
