Fox Morris are working with Royal Borough of Greenwich Council in relations to finding a Lead Negotiator to start work ASAP


Responsibilities

  • To lead on cost negotiation with providers using tools such as CareCubed (or equivalent) to inform the negotiation process.
  • To successfully negotiate fair placement prices for both new and existing placements and contracts and better support outcomes based on social workers reviews and CareCubed outputs.
  • To understand and be able to evaluate the cost of placements based on triangulating information on provider costs, resident need, and local cost modelling tools.
  • To lead negotiations with residential/Domiciliary based providers and successfully negotiate better support and outcomes.
  • Provide commercial intelligence around markets including identifying key risk and trends.
  • To provide robust cost modelling to enable evidenced decisions around strategic commissioning around provider services.
  • To develop a database system or tracker of the various providers, costs and negotiations and to ensure its kept up to date at all times.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery and review of strategic commissioning, planning,
  • Performance and governance of services for adults so that overall costs are reduced but the life chances as adults are maximised.
  • Train and develop staff on negotiation and CareCubed as required.
  • Identify improvement to ASC assessment, review, and planning process to support effective cost negotiation.
You will be required to work Monday-Friday (9:00-5:00pm). This is based on a 6 month contract and the pay negotiable.

£321.03-£400.00 per day
