Description

ABP is one of Europe's largest food processors and our site in Yetminster produces best quality lamb products including the premium Dorset Crown range.

The role of warehouse picker is to work as part of the Despatch team to get the products correctly placed on pallets ready for distribution


Responsibilities:


  • Build pallets in the correct format with regards to amounts and products per pallet
  • Ensure all product is kept in a good condition while storing
  • At all times follow the policy/procedure relating to temperature control ensuring safe food relating to products
  • Be able to work well within a team to ensure no breaks in production
  • Keep the work area tidy, employing a 'clean as you go' policy
  • Comply with company policy and procedures on safe food handling and hygiene at all times
  • Carry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with H&S legislation in accordance with the attached Health and Safety responsibilities

Skills:


  • Numerate
  • Good communication skills understanding of basic English
  • Good organisational Skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Team Player
  • Some warehouse experience preferred
