Finance Assistant - Plymouth, United Kingdom - Lloyd Barnes
Description
We are currently partnering with a Plymouth based client who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant into the team on a temporary basis over a 6-month period.
The position will provide dedicated financial support and to act as first point of contact to stakeholders and staff in finance related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Filing Systems & Data Entry
- Answer the telephone and take messages as required
- Undertake general office tasks e.g. photocopying, post in and out
- Code and input invoices onto Sage (Purchase Ledger)
- Input Monthly Support onto Sage and generate invoices
- Process Rents and Weekly information sheets from projects
- Record payment methods and file paid invoices
- Input sales information onto Sage and produce invoices (Sales Ledger)
- Input Payments and Receipts from bank Statement onto Sage
- Generate reports as required
- Check and reconcile petty cash accounts for the organisation
- Experience of working with money
- Use of SAGE finance package
- Data Entry & good IT skills
- Some understanding of basic finance procedure
