£40k-£60k**Our client has a mission to make the online world accessible for all with major global organisations joining on them on their journey. They need help to achieve their ambitious plans. This is why they're looking for an Accessibility Lead to help them support internal teams and clients with digital accessibility auditing and web compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities:


  • Auditing our internal and external technologies for accessibility issues, and coaching colleagues to consider the accessibility impact of each new feature we add to our product portfolio.
  • Helping our clients to fix accessibility issues highlighted by our accessibility scanner.
  • Organising accessibility training for staff members.
  • Testing our accessibility solutions with different stakeholder audiences.
  • Handson accessibility testing of our digital products.
  • Audit all outputs for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
  • Implementing an internal culture of 'accessible by design
  • Proactively identify new trends in accessibility and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Testing products for accessibility.
  • Being the goto expert internally on all accessibility matters.
  • Manage the internal training programmes for accessibility (including courses/qualifications)
  • Contributing to educational and marketing materials aimed at increased awareness. off accessibility problems and solutions.

Requirements:


  • IAAP certification
  • Experience managing accessibility audits and remediation issues.
  • Hands on experience with Assistive Technology (e.g. screen readers, magnifiers, alternative input, etc)
  • 5+ years of experience in driving accessibility in digital, customer facing programs or functions.
  • A background in usability, usercentred design, or inclusive design
