Circa £24,500 per annum depending upon experience

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

UK Biobank are seeking to hire an Access Associate to join our team based in Cheadle Heath, Stockport.

Access Associate - Key Responsibilities:
- To assist in managing access requests and provide administration support in accordance with respective procedures and systems and maintain databases and records accordingly
- Report to the Senior Access Associates with regard to day to day activities
- Work as part of a team reviewing and providing administration support for access requests received
- Work in accordance with and help maintain processes and procedures according to quality standards ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 and support UK Biobank to meet future targets
- Ensure the Senior Access Associates are informed of issues and challenges as they arise
- Receive initial access enquiries to UK Biobank and respond, escalate or action, as appropriate
- Maintain databases and records to ensure they are current and uptodate at all times
- Manage access requests from submission to project completion, adhering to strict guidelines
- Draft, process and manage all Access agreements (Material Transfer Agreements and Addenda)
- Carry out any other duties/tasks as deemed appropriate to the role
Access Associate - You:
- Ensure objectives are met in a timely manner with a clear focus on verifying and supporting bona fide researchers
- Must be selfmotivated with a strong work ethic
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service and/or service delivery in a fastpaced administration environment
- To be proficient working with IT systems; experience of MS Office
- Strong communications skills with polite and professional attitude to work, primarily written, with excellent attention to detail
- Respect for confidentiality
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet business demands
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties in order to perform duties
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively with mínimal supervision
- A good knowledge of the research processes in an academic and/or commercial organisation
- Experience of a customerfacing role
